Alfred Hitchcock, is a British producer, he is well known and very famous for making the audience play God, and also he is known for how he has pioneer techniques for creating suspense in the thriller genre. He remains one of the famous film makers of all time, The way he portrayed suspense on-screen was to allow the audience to play God which basically meant for the audience to control what is going to or about to happen, This is done by giving the actors prior knowledge of what was going on, what the actors did not actually have themselves. The effect this had on the viewers is that you were able to witness the hero of the movie or the main character walk into a trap, without them knowing, this was alongside the fact that you couldn’t tell them that they were in danger.
